Collection: Leather Sandals
Dallû Ngaay
(Ngaay's shoes)
Leatherwork is a very old tradition in Ngaay Mekhé, a small town located between Dakar and Saint-Louis in Senegal.
Born in the 15th century with the arrival of the Socé (Mandingues) from Casamance, this know-how, passed down from generation to generation, has made the city a capital of sandals and leather goods.
Renowned for their solidity and made according to an ancestral aesthetic tradition, Dallû Ngaay (Ngaay sandals) also perfectly adapt to fashion and trend codes.
The sandals have a thick, "indestructible" sole and high-quality full-grain leather.
Kaolack Créations has developed ethical business relationships with the Artisans. We enable these small manufacturers to make a living from their craft and thus perpetuate the tradition by passing on their know-how.
