The Men's Kente long-sleeved tunic shirt is a must-have in a man's wardrobe. Combining African textile tradition and modernity, it is made of a noble material, 100% cotton Kente hand-woven in Bonwere, Ghana. It is sewn in our workshop in Accra by African Couturiers.

The thickness of the Kente and the long sleeves allow you to wear it in winter with an undershirt, but also in spring and autumn during mid-season.

Kente

Intimately linked to the history of the Akan peoples, Kente or Kita is a traditional African fabric composed of cotton or silk strips hand-woven and sewn together to form colorful patterns and figures. Like many other African woven fabrics, Kente, stemming from a long ancestral textile tradition, is a symbol of nobility and prestige. This royal fabric is the pride of the Ashanti and Ewe peoples, in the Gulf of Guinea.
