Spread across an area extending from Guinea-Bissau to Senegal, including Gambia, the Manjak people have always woven this fabric steeped in history, symbols and meaning. Called "sëru rabeul" or "sëru ndiaago" in Senegal, this luxurious fabric is used in ceremonies at all important stages of life.
