Bogolan, hand-woven and hand-dyed cotton with natural pigments in Mali, is then lined and handcrafted in our partner workshops in Senegal. Each piece is unique: the color harmonies vary, which is its signature.

What is the difference between bogolan and wax?
Bogolan is cotton hand-woven and hand-dyed with natural pigments (an ancestral process). Wax is an industrially printed fabric. The aesthetics, durability, and cultural impact are not comparable.
