Collection: Kente – Akan woven cloth

Kente Collection – Akan Woven Cloth

Authentic Kente. Hand-woven textiles. Contemporary African fashion.
Kaolack Créations brings together all the pieces made with genuine Kente cloth: Ashanti Kente, Ewe Kente, Akan cloths woven in Bonwere or in Ewe workshops in southern Ghana. Each textile is chosen directly from the artisan weavers, without intermediaries, to preserve quality, fair pricing, and the dignity of their work.

Kente is woven strip by strip. The threads intertwine, tighten, forming meaningful patterns. Each design belongs to an ancient repertoire: some patterns evoke authority, others balance or memory. Wearing Kente means embracing a piece of living culture, a textile that is authentic.

Our two-material shirts in cotton and Kente are easy to wear. They structure the silhouette, adding a discreet yet steady graphic accent. They are suitable for casual days as well as more formal events. Black or white cotton creates the base, while the woven Kente asserts the nuance.
