Description
Made from Krobo glass beads, molded and then hand-painted before firing in
traditional kilns, these necklaces pay tribute to an ancestral art passed down from generation to generation.
Once worn during initiation rites and ceremonies, these beads carry a living memory.
Each necklace is a declaration of elegance, pride, and connection to one's African roots.
Both models are mounted on a triple elastic thread, without a clasp, for a comfortable fit at the base of the neck.

Krobo beads are made from recycled glass: the glass is crushed, melted in clay molds,
then the beads are fired and hand-painted with natural pigments. Jewelry with meaning,
historically used as social markers and during rites of passage.
The name & the legacy
"Nene" is a title of nobility in Ghana (queen, king, respected elder).
"Krobo" refers to a people from the Eastern region, known for their jewelry art and recycled glass beads.
