Traditional indigo · Natural dye · West African craftsmanship
This tunic is made of Galafini, a cotton woven and then hand-dyed with natural indigo, following a Bamanan (Bambara) tradition from West Africa. Each bath, rest, and oxidation creates a unique blue: from deep blue to midnight blue.
We work with workshops specializing in plant-based indigo, respecting the material, the gesture, and the time. No chemical dyes, no industrialization.
Cut & style
Loose fit, mid-length sleeves, fluid drape. Comfortable and refined style.
For a casual style: raw denim, straight-leg trousers, fluid cotton bottoms. For a sophisticated look: straight skirt, fitted trousers, leather sandals or simple mules.
Recommended colors: cream, sand, ecru, black, dark denim, terracotta.
